Suburban Anthropologist #7: Time For Winter...

Work has been so ridiculously crazy since getting back from vacation. Yes, it's a very good thing, but holy guacamole I'm tired. In addition to work I've just been busy in general.  No amount of running around will take away from the fact that this is my favorite time of year. So HUZZAH! Let's all celebrate the holidays! (and be super busy.) Here are some random photos...

I love this picture of my friend Amber and me from a recent (and awesome) wedding.

I'm including this picture because I'm not sure if I can pull this outfit off. I know I kind of look like a candied apple...but I don't know. I was feeling it at the time.

I bought this awesome vintage slide from Walt Disney World for a project Adam and I are working on in the basement of our house.

This is one of our two christmas trees...the other is on our porch. I quilted the tree skirt in 2011, and its still one of my favorite things in the world! The angel on top is from Mexico and made from scrap tin.  You can catch a glimpse of the pine garland on the bannister reflected in the mirror. :)

As much as I love clothes, I hate getting dressed up.  This is from my Instagram story...are you following @hipsterhairdresser?

Hopefully I will find time during the holidays to catch back up on this blog. But honestly I'm not holding my breath.  Between work, and baking, and general running around...who knows. So if I don't see you in person: Have a lovely holiday, and HAPPY NEW YEAR. :)
